AAA Communications maintains FCC Private Carrier Licenses. This type of license allows AAA Communications customers to legally operate on AAA Communications licensed frequencies. If your 2-way radio supplier cannot supply you with a copy of their current FCC Private Carrier License valid for your area of operations, find another supplier as quick as you can! Frequencies are issued on a shared basis. It is not possible to guarantee that you will be given totally private frequencies exclusively for your use. However, it is possible to apply for Special Temporary Authorization to use frequencies which have been issued by the FCC to other types of services, and are often much "cleaner" than normal business use channels. AAA Communications commonly completes the necessary paperwork for this type of license.
